Chaplain
Fellowship Ministries 2010 Conference
We
would like to thank Todd Hess the manager of the Bridge for providing
us with a place to gather this year, he really came through for
us.
The
conference this year started with as few unexpected problems.
The church where we were going to hold the conference flooded
the day before,
to
see the photo of the church. We had to scramble to find a new
location which the Lord as always showed us the way by providing
a choice of two different location. Due to the weather in central
Texas being so bad there were a fairly large number of chaplains
who canceled their attendance this year. Next year we will be
holding our conference in October, it will not be so hot and we
will not have to worry about the intense
rain or flooding we seem to experience in September. There
were 8 members who received the presidential call to service award.
Four members
were appointed to the position of Deputy Chief Chaplain, and one
received the D.D.C.S, "Doctor of Divinity in Chaplaincy Studies".
