Chaplain Fellowship Ministries 2010 Conference

It is our pleasures to announce the 2010 CFMI Convention scheduled for September 9th, 10th and 11th. The hotel we are using this year is the Fairfield in Temple Texas.

Please Note: Chaplain Neatherlin has arranged for vans to pick up everyone flying into Killeen. Important: We need to know approximately how many will be attending the conference so we can inform the hotel representatives how many rooms to reserve. Reservation Information: When you make your reservations be sure to tell them you are with Chaplain Fellowship Ministries" in order to get the ministry rates of $69.00 a night. You can check in any time after 3:PM Thursday the 9th. Chaplain Gibson, Chaplain Francis and other staff members will be in the lobby area to greet members so you will have an opportunity to have a relaxed informal talk with some of the ministry leadership, staff members and other guests attending the conference.

Friday the 10th at 8:00 AM: There will be vans courtesy of the Humble House Crisis Ministries ready to take everyone to the conference. Chaplain Steve Neatherlin made arrangement for the conference to be held in the fellowship hall at the Assembly of God Church between Temple and Belton. It is only a 5 minutes ride from the Fairfield.

10: AM to 10:50 AM: Chaplain Gibson & Chaplain Francis will be speaking, making announcements and presenting awards.

Chaplain Ann Brown & Chaplain Thomas People will be speaking on the terrorist attack on Fort Hood and the role that Crisis Response played during and after the attack.

12:Noon to 1:PM: We will be having lunch in the fellowship hall where the conference is being held. The members of the Humble House will be serving lunch for donations which goes to the Humble House. They will be making Texas BQ, potato salad, baked beans and rolls, drinks will also be available including coffee.

Chaplain Dave Fair will be speaking on his tour of duty in Haiti. Dave deployed on two different deployments.

Chaplain Dale Ray Smith will be speaking on the time he spent in prison and how it changed his life, he now works as a chaplain in street ministry and Jail Ministry.

Chaplain Tommy Davis from New York will be speaking on the New York Division. (Not Confirmed)

Chaplain Lee Hagwood has been asked to speak on his tour of duty in Kuwait and Afghanistan as a military chaplain. Chaplain Hagwwod was the first chaplain we endorsed for the military. (Not Confirmed)

Several have requested time to so they can have the opportunity to speak regarding their ministries.

5:pm: Vans will be returning everyone to the Fairfield for the evening. There are several different places to eat within walking distance of the Fairfield that offer a good variety of foods.

Chaplain Gibson & Chaplain Francis will have a table set up during the conference to speak with members, they will also make themselves available in the Fairfield lobby to visit with members Friday evening.

Saturday 8:AM: The Vans will be ready to take everyone to the Fellowship Hall for a time of prayer and formal ordination ceremonies that will be performed by senior ministry members for all who would like to attend. Vans will be taking those who are flying out on Saturday back to the airport. Again please be sure to get your flight information to Chaplain Steve Neatherlin. to contact Chaplain Neatherlin.
