were inspiring. We also want to thank Chaplains Lewis and Deleros

Chaplain
Russell Farmer sent these pictures in.
The
photos are of the River's Edge Ranch, a labor of love in progress.
Chaplain Farmer and several other chaplains with Chaplain
Fellowship Motorcycle Ministries
are helping Pastor Gary Hornsby to build a Drug & Alcohol rehab
center in the California High Desert. Once completed the River's Edge
Ranch will be a working ranch complete with livestock (horses, cattle,
pigs, goats and chickens). The ranch will also be sustained by fresh
fruits and vegetables, all grown in the ranch's green house, garden
and small orchard. An eighty foot windmill, which has already been
donated, will harness the ample supply of desert winds; helping the
ranch do its part to conserve the earth's resources, as well as, assist
with the power cost. Living quarters will be a completely furnished
log cabin bunkhouse, designed to comfortably accommodate several men.
The ranch will also be outfitted with an industrial kitchen and plenty
of bathroom/shower facilities. Photo

Chaplain
Mick Dobra from Peoria IL sent in the following photos of the
recent
DiRT (disaster response team) trip to Madison WI to help with flood
relief. I have been working with my local church, Richwoods Christian
Church, to develop a DiRT ministry and was sent by the missions team
to serve and learn: The people in Wisconsin were hit hard. There are
many displaced and discouraged families. I was overwhelmed by how
many of Gods people were there helping in the recovery efforts!
I worked on a crew of about 15 people (1 crew of many!) on Saturday
in small town outside of Reedsburg. Our crew was assigned to mud
out houses that had been flooded. There were 5 locals from Reedsburg,
two people from Madison WI, myself from Peoria IL, and the rest were
from a Southern Baptist Disaster Relief Team from Texas. Here are
some of the photos. . Photo

Chaplain
Mary and Ken Dobbs state director for Colorado sent these photos
in. Chaplain Mary Dobbs was the chaplain officiating at the Veterans
Memorial service at the Vietnam Wall in Boulder Colorado. The 240'
X 8' Wall will be there and open to the public 24 / 7, with a Native
American ceremonial fire all night on Saturday to honor all veteran
warriors. That is when most of the vets will arrive, after dark. "The
Moving Wall" is the half-size replica of the Washington, DC Vietnam
Veterans Memorial and has been touring the country for more than twenty
years. When John Devitt attended the 1982 dedication in Washington,
he felt the positive power of "The Wall." He vowed to share
that experience with those who did not have the opportunity to go
to Washington. John, Norris Shears, Gerry Haver, and other Vietnam
veteran volunteers built The Moving Wall. It went on display for the
first time in Tyler, Texas in October of 1984. Two structures of The
Moving Wall now travel the USA from April through November, spending
about a week at each site.

dedicated their lives to protect and serve. Comments by Chaplain
Peoples. We have all been trained on how to deal with the problems
of others and to handle the worst people in society, but we receive
very little to no training on how to handle our own problems and
to deal with the changes in our lives caused by the law enforcement
career.

differences and minor doctrinal issues to serve our community while
hoping that some would submit to Christ. We do hold that certain
fundamental beliefs are necessary for a God ordained ministry. We

International based in Temple Texas. It is our hopes that we would
continue to have a powerful effect serving our police and fire departments,

The Humble House is a Faith - Based Christian Ministry and Life Center.
We help recovering addicts and alcoholics to get back into a productive,
successful life. We not only believe in recovery, but we believe in
complete restoration. That restoration comes through faith in Jesus
Christ and working 12 steps. We then learn how to tap into the Spiritual

Chaplain Dan and Marilyn Nase: Its exciting to be involved
in an outreach ministry where we can see positive results and changed
lives. Originally Harvest of Life was incorporated in Texas by its
founder Rev. Murl Gwynn. Its intended purpose at the time was
to record the Bible in indigenous languages and dialects so missionaries
could use the tape recordings in remote villages of Latin America
and Africa for evangelism. Murl and his volunteers built recording
studios for a requesting missionary whenever asked. This effort continued
through 1987, when Dan and Marilyn Nase came on board to develop Christian
illustrated magazines in Spanish known as the Foto Novela.

Chaplain Gregory Wilhite: Update! Doodah
is recovering well and expected to live, although Iraq lacks the
cosmetic surgery capability of the US and will likely be scarred
pretty badly. Regulations require military hospitals to transfer
local nationals to Iraqi hospitals within 24 hours, but they are
making an exception for the girl and plan to hold on to her until
they can be confident that the worst danger of infection are past.
We went to the CSH to visit her yesterday and took some stuffed
toys and crayons. I took the medic who initially treated her (picture
attached). We're hopeful that she will come through this okay.
