I pray that you may have your roots and foundation in love, so that you, together with all God's people, may have the power to understand how broad and long, how high and deep, is Christ's love. Evil prospers, when good men and women choose to do nothing.
Many of us at times get very discouraged in the ministry and feel intimidated by some who are considered to be Christian superstars. Well brother and sisters we need to turn our eyes away from numbers and people and redirect them toward Jesus and stay close to Him. We must always be seeking His will. His approval is all we need. Any church without the spirit of the Lord, is just another building, no matter how many people attend.
As a interdenominational Christian public charity dedicated to the advancement of the Christian tradition, the chaplains at Chaplain Fellowship Ministries International (CFMI) have dedicated themselves to the work of service. Our chaplains can be found in hospitals, prisons, nursing homes, street corners, police departments, military, fire departments, major disaster areas and crime scenes. CFMI is a unique ministry in that we ordain, certify, endorse, and equip our chaplains to serve in any area that the Lord has called them.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will ordain and issue independent ministry licenses to those who believe that the Lord has called them into the ministry. Therefore, as we continue to serve the public, we are determined to broaden Kingdom influence by recruiting more men and women who desire to serve in such a capacity.
Our chaplains have braved the storm of Katrina, and counseled families during 9/11. I personally drove a 15 passenger van 2800 miles transporting Katrina evacuees from the Gulf Coast to Upstate New York. We understand that there are those who desire to minister in word and deed, but just lack the ministerial license to do so. We know there are those who desire to start their own ministry, but lack proper ordination and the legal documentation to carry out that calling. Hence, CFMI, as a Christ-centered ministry, will issue the ministry credentials needed by those born-again believers.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries credentials affirms to an employer or volunteer agency that a chaplain, minister, priest or pastoral counselor has met the basic requirements to provide ministry in their specialized setting, and that the individual is a member in good standing of an endorsement ministry. The Chaplains of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries come from many different ethnic, educational and denominational backgrounds.
Chaplains have to be all things to all people. They are ministers, comforters, pastors, teachers, and counselors. They are creative and understanding as they demonstrate God's grace and love in ministering to people in crisis institutions and witin community settings.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is about a working relationship with almighty God and the teachings of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. The lack of certifications and degrees will not stop anyone from becoming a member or being endorsed by Chaplain Fellowship Ministries. We review request for ordination and endorsement on a case by case basis, some endorsements require the aplicant have specialized training such as, Crisis Response Chaplains must have CISM, CISD, Hospital Chaplains must have finished a CPE program. Others may require less training such as nursing home chaplaincy and street chaplaincy.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is about God's people who have been called and who have walked the walk in life and felt pain and suffering. It is about all those who have been called by God and no one would listen or give them a chance. It is about all those who have the love of Christ in their hearts reaching out to those in need, not for monatary gain, but out of love for our Lord and Savior.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is about giving all God's people the rights to become endorsed, ordained and trained in their own field of ministry. It is about offering all the people of God including the everyday hard working man and woman the chance to get what man's requires for them to start a church or ministry for the Glory of the Kingdom of God.
Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is about relationships and caring for one another, in Faith, Love and Hope. Jesus made it clear that these are the three things we must have. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries is about all the people of God being equal, not one being any better than the other. If we can help you reach the goals in ministry you are seeking, we have done what the Lord has called us to do.
The Chaplain's of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries are touching the lives of over a half million people every week around the world and here at home for the Glory of the Kingdom of God. Most of these chaplains are everyday hard working people who could not afford to go to college for many reasons. Maybe they had a family to raise, or just could not afford the hight cost of getting a formal education or training. If you feel in your heart that you have been called to serve the homeless, the abused, the hungry, the lost and the neglected, no matter what you do, do not let anything or anybody stop you from following your calling.
