In
reviewing a Law enforcement chaplaincy program for accreditation
HomeLand Crisis Institute will look at each of these areas
to determine if the program is meeting the needs of their
department and the public.
HomeLand
Crisis Institute will request that they be allowed to
review documentation confirming that these areas of Chaplaincy
are currently implemented in the program. Documentation
may include copies of policy and procedures of the agency
or departmental letter from the Chief of the agency, General
orders or any similar documentation.
During
the accreditation process HomeLand Crisis Institute will
confirm the existence of these areas of Chaplaincy within
the program. If there is a deficiency the chaplaincy program
will be given 6 months to implement the additional areas
into their program or make the changes that are needed.
Upon
satisfactory completition of the study HomeLand Crisis
Institute will issue the accreditation documentation to
the Chaplaincy Program. There is a one time fee for the
accreditation process.
