Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has a lot of Vietnam and Gulf War Combat veterans within our membership, who totally suppport our troops. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries always has, and always will do everything we can to help our military chaplains in support of our troops and their families.
Due to a shortage or non availability of Military Chaplains in some areas, the military has requested a few of our law enforcement Chaplains who have a background in or with military service, and line of duty deaths and injury issues in the public sector to help them in death notifications. Only qualified chaplains who are members of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries in good standing will be considered or accepted for Certification as Registered Military Liaison Chaplain. Members who are selected must meet all the requirements as set forth in the application before certification will be granted.
While there are some similarities between military and police death notifications and follow-ups, there are a number of differences. The differences give rise to the need of a new Chaplain certification, and the approprate "bridge course" That will expand the law enforcement Chaplains usefulness for ministry to the military and public at large.
The Certification will be titled: Registered Military Liaison Chaplain, (RMLC). The following are the requirements for consideration for this certification:
