Psalm 41:1-3 Blessed is he who considers the poor; the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble. The Lord will preserve him and keep him alive, and he will be blessed on the earth; He will not deliver him to the will of his enemies. The Lord will strengthen him on his bed of illness; He will sustain him on his sickbed.

Mission Statement

1. The Needy: One of the major functions of any church, faith based organizations, or ministry SHOULD be to reach out when we have the means and help all those who are in need. It is the vision and mission of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries that by the grace of God we will be blessed one day to be able to help families who have lost everything in fires, disasters or sickness. To be able to help senior citizens who do not have enough money and many times have to make a decision between buying medication or food each month. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will always do what we can to help when people in need come to us with no where else to turn. When they turn to God in prayer, God sends those He has called to help in any way we can.

2. Provide Anger and Stress Management: As we all know world events has caused a dramatic increase in violence and crime in our communities and cities which has created a desperate need for training resources in how to manage stress and anger. Chaplain Fellowship has eight Anderson and Anderson certified anger management facilitators in the central Texas area who offer their services in a safe educational environment to active duty military personal, their families, veterans of all wars, law enforcement officers, federal agents, fire department and the community at large. Those who attend the classes offered by CFMI learn expressions of anger that are acceptable to society so that violence and self-destructive behavior can be avoided. They will also learn how to be more emotionally intelligent and how to use proven communication skills to become more effective in their day to day lives. These classes will be offered free to our troops, their families, veterans and those who can not afford the classes. There are a large number of our troops committing suicide on a regular basis, this is a fact not being reported by news agencies. It is our hopes and prayers that we may be able to help save as many as we can reach. You can folks, with your support we will be able to offer these classes free to many who need them. Your support will also help train more anger management facilitators all over our our nation who will offer these classes free to anyone within our communities that need them. CFMI certified anger management facilitators are certified in adult and adolescent anger management training.

3. Domestic violence shelters and training centers: There are over four million women in this country who suffer some kind of violence at the hands of their husbands or boyfriends each year. Very few will tell anyone - a friend, a relative, a neighbor, or the police. Victims of domestic violence come from all walks of life, all cultures, all income groups, all ages, all religions. They share feelings of helplessness, isolation, guilt, fear, and shame. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will help start shelters for abused women and children. Folks, we can not count the times over the years we have heard people make comments regarding domestic violence when they have no idea what they are talking about. Most people do not know any better and will say that victims of abuse don't have to live with an abuser, they think they can just leave anytime they want to. No woman wants to be abused, let alone allow their children to be abused. However, anyone who has worked with domestic violence victims knows that they are almost never able to leave on their own. Many of those who have tried were found by the abuser and beat even worse, in some cases the abusers have even killed them. They need a safe place where they and their children can go to be protected from the abuser. Therefore, we have a vision to help provide safe houses and training centers nationwide designed to help abused women and children. Training centers will help abused women to learn a new vocation in a safe environment. Many abused women stay in abusive relationships because they have no choice; most have no job skills which means that they can not support themselves or their children. Right now, as you are reading this there are women and children being beaten, some even killed, by drunks, drug addicts or men who just have a bad attitude or temper.

4. Shelters and counseling centers for Veterans: Americans would be amazed at the number of veterans currently living on our streets. Some of them are disabled Vietnam veteran some are disabled Iraq veterans who a year ago was fighting defending our nation. Many Vietnam veterans have committed suicide or died on the streets, or in prison. We pray that Iraq veterans will be treated better. Many of these veterans are disabled and have no one to help them, no place to go. How did this happen folks? There are many reasons but most people don't want to hear about it. It helps them to sleep at night to just put all the blame on the veterans or the government. God help us! We sure enjoy the freedoms we have in our country. It is a disgrace that we have combat disabled veterans Living and dying in the streets. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will help start faith based counseling centers for combat Vietnam veterans, Iraq veterans and their families. These centers will be run by trained chaplains or veterans themselves who understand what the combat veteran is going through. The goal is to help these veterans learn how to live with the trauma they witnessed and lived with in combat. They will be taught how to live and function in a world that they can no longer understand. Combat veterans will never look at life or people the same way ever again, they can't no matter how hard they try, but they can be taught by other combat veterans who have survived how to live with it and survive themselves.

5. Food Ministry for senior citizens and poor families: Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has been blessed to be able to help set up several food ministries across our nation that feed poor families and senior citizens on a regular basis every week. We are always looking for chaplains who are serious about starting food ministries. We will do everything possible to help them get started by providing them with the tools they need. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries believes in reaching out to help our poor families and senior citizens in our nation. We will do everything in our power by the Grace of our Lord to help our senior citizens and poor families in their time of need.

6. To have trained and ordained chaplains in every state in the United States, and every other country worldwide serving in ministries that help those in need within their communities.

7. To offer biblical and crisis intervention training and ordination to all of Gods' people who have been called into a ministry of presence no matter what their ethnic, educational or gender may be. Who better to take the gospel to the streets than those who have had to live on the streets.

To have trained and ordained chaplains in every Police Department, Fire Department, Federal and State Agencies, Nursing Homes, Hospitals, City and County Jails, Prisons, Drug Rehab Centers, Domestic Violence Shelters, Veterans Counseling Centers, Street Ministries and any other type of ministry the Lord calls chaplains to do. There are a lot of combat veterans becoming law enforcement officers, under the right circumstances you can be sure there will be problems. Police departments are starting to that they have a real serious problem. Chaplains trained in crisis intervention and anger management are a valuable assist to departments who care about their officers, their families and their communities.

CFMI Ministry Needs Statement

Funds for training: Chaplain Fellowship Ministries believes that chaplains must have proper training to minister to the public at large. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will offer distance learning courses to prepare chaplains for the work they have been called to do. We pray that one day CFMI will be able to offer help with scholarships for many of the training programs that chaplains need to do their work in their communities.

Chaplain's relief fund: Many of our Chaplains give so much, to so many who are in need never asking for anything in return. From time to time, even chaplains find themselves in financial need with no where to turn. Some loose their jobs, or their vehicle needs repair, their children get sick. Some do not have what is needed just to get by at times from week to week. There are many things that can and do go wrong. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries will be there for our chaplains when possible during their time of need. Please keep in mind Chaplains and their families are only human and experience many of the same problems that everyone else faces. Please keep our chaplains and their families in your prayers.

Administrative Cost: It would be so nice to not have to worry about financial obligations like it used to be several years ago. To just go out and do the Lords' work and feel those wonderful blessings that He bestows upon us when we are in the field reaching out to those in need, but things change folks when a ministry grows. Chaplain Fellowship has grown so much, and the Lord knows our hearts, and He knows if we could we would give everything away without question like we used to. But if we are going to keep His ministry going, that is no longer possible, every one of us has to do our part and keep the commitments we make for the stability and advancement of Chaplain Fellowship. Every year the cost of office supplies and office equipment becomes more and more expensive due to ministry growth. This year alone we have had to replace four old computer with new ones, two were over seven years old. These cost must be meet if Chaplain Fellowship is to survive and keep all our members and affiliate ministries covered. Chaplain Fellowship now has two employees, they both are full time secretaries on payroll, they do the work of four people and work very long hours. Everyone else including chief chaplains and senior staff members and directors are non paid and work countless hours every week, seven days a week, 365 days a year. We always give thanks no matter how large or how small the gifts are that come in. If you want to help keep this ministry going and growing you can do so by clicking on the donation button on the right. God bless you, and thank you for your time, Chaplain Gibson

Please Note: Anyone who gives to any ministry has a right to know their private information will not be sold or made public. All Ministries and public charities must demonstrate a commitment to your privacy. All Ministries or Public Charities should have their donor privacy policy prominently displayed on their web site(s). Furthermore, if the charity is a 501(c) 3, they are required by the IRS to have their 501 (c) 3 determination letter prominently displayed for public inspection on their web site. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries has made a commitment to respect our members and partners' privacy. We treat every gift with sensitivity and confidentiality. Please view our donor privacy policy.

Folks many people will tell you that a ministry having a 501 (c) 3 does not mean anything, they will tell you that we are doing what man says instead of the word of God. That is not true, it is really silly to even make such a statement. These people have a problem being held accountable for their action and what they do with the money they receive in good faith. What does it mean to be tax exempt? Folks it means that a ministry is being held accountable for their actions and the funds they receive. The IRS does not tell any ministry how to use the Lords' money when it come to the work that we do for the Glory of the Lords' Kingdom. But I can assure you of one thing, the IRS does watch for those who abuse the trust of the people who give their donations to a ministry. Chaplain Fellowship Ministries believes that accountability is very important for the credibility of all ministries. Chaplain Fellowship has Jackson Hewitt in Temple Texas as the ministry CPA firm, they take care of our 990's and all other issues dealing with the IRS. You can find our 990's posted online with GuideStar, connecting people with nonprofit information for the whole world to see. In compliance with the rules and regulations of the Internal Revenue Service Chaplain Fellowship Ministries 501 (c) 3 tax exempt public charity documentation has been posted for public inspection.

Please never let anyone tell you that a few loving kind and caring people can't change the world. For in reality they are the only ones who ever have. The members of Chaplain Fellowship Ministries by the grace of our Lord are doing just that every day. Where there is no vision the people perish! The vision the Lord has given us is a mighty mission, and we will not waiver. ®Chaplain Fellowship Ministries International Inc. is a faith based nondenominational non profit public charity legally Incorporated with chaplains, pastors, minister, priests, missions, training institutions, and ministries working worldwide. © Chaplain Fellowship Ministries all rights reserved.
